Between when a movie is out on DVD/BluRay and when it is on PPV/VOD? If this happened would the BluRay camp not like this because then you really wouldn't need a BluRay Player unless you wanted to buy movies on BluRay or regular DVD right? Or still have a PS3 to play BluRay video games.

They want them to be PPV before Bluray / DVD.

At the price D* charges for PPV, I will never leave NetFlix, so, yes, a BluRay player is needed.

But why would I want to pay 5-6 bucks for a single PPV when for the cost of 2 of them I have an unlimited Netflix subscription with all the movies I want?

I dont rent that many movies but it would still be nice for them to shrink the release window down to zero days.
