Hello every one I got a logitech harmony one remote and I had to change the address on the vip 722 in order to get it working right. Now my question every time I turn on the 722 it goes straight into the point dish screen? At first I thought it was the H1 having a bad setting, but after turning it on with the dish remote it also does it? Anyone have a clue why?

To throw in a factoid that doesn't (directly) solve your problem.

The Harmony remote can use any of the 722's IR addresses. You do not have to change the 722's IR address to accommodate the Harmony remote.

It wasn't reading the receiver at first then I did a quick search on google it came up with changing the address on the remotes it started all working fine, but now every time I turn on the receiver it goes straight into the point dish screen

Have you performed a power cord reset?

Google can be a powerful tool. That said, I have seen the same advice given. It is not correct in that you do not need to change the IR address on the Dish receiver as the Harmony can be set to whatever IR address that your Dish is at.
