"searching for authorized content"

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I started having troubles with recordings I've made off Fox Sports Pittsburgh (Mike Tomlin Press Conference and MT Show). Seems like I always get the "searching for authorized content" message on the first recording, then the "repeats" record just fine. I spoke with someone at directv today and they really didn't know what was going on, but one guy I spoke with wondered if they might be blacking out the first broadcast in the way they do live games (but then allow the repeat of the game to come through). Any thoughts on this? It seems pretty preposterous that they would black out a press conference and even more preposterous that they would black out a coach's weekly show. But it does seem to follow that pattern of initial broadcast unavailable, repeats available.

Actually, I do remember a thread where there was discussion about the pre-game shows being blacked out in Pittsburgh. It might have been for hockey, but they might be doing the same thing with football.

The comparison with pre-game shows seems thin to me. These aren't pre-game shows. They're stand alone shows not connected to any live broadcast. Also, I used to be able to get the first runs of these broadcasts without any problem.
