I am visiting my parents in CT. My father has an oval dish with 101 and 119 sat on it. I have been trying different multiswiches to get 119 to come in so my father can finally dump comcast and get his locals via sat. I finally got one that worked.
I changed the multiswich and now I am getting only Even transponders on both sats. Also some of the 101 Even transponders have no signal when they had 80+ signal strength.
Many transponders are getting week signal. No odd transponders.
I have a receiver here from my account in Boston. I used to get my locals here and now there gone. I am not shure if my fathers dish has bad cables, a bad lnb or what?
I have never seen the odd transponders go dead all the sudden.
Any ideas? Could the dish need to be re-amed or does it sound like an lnb partially went bad.
