I've tried to get to the LBN menu from both the Language page and the signal strength page, but neither seem to work. How long do I need to hold the buttons down? Can anyone give me a step by step?

Are you pressing them on the front panel, rather than on the remote? What model receiver, including the -X00 manufacturer's suffix?

I have an R16-300 and I am using the buttons on the front.

Often, with those DVRs, I have had to press them several times before that menu comes up.
