Hi all,
What is the procedure to change a remote address for the Non-UHF older universal style remote, if the receiver it belonged to (like i guess 3000 ird) doesn't exist any longer...
In some manual that i found for an older simular design remote control, but UHF though it says:
SET THE REMOTE ADDRESS:
1. Press MODE until the remote is in SAT mode
2. Press the ADDRESS Button once, the SAT mode light will start to flash slowly.
3. Enter your Code (from 1 to 16) (the SAT light will stay on, but will stop to flash)
4. Press ADDRESS button to save the new address, - if address is valid - the SAT mode light will blink 3 times..
5 - and this is where i do not Non-UHF receiver with Select button on the front panel...Anyhow 5 says:
Press and hold the SELECT Button on the remote, while pressing
and releasing the SELECT Button on the receiver. This sets the receiver to the same address as the remote...
So - is there any other way?
Or any way "around this"?
All i want at the end is to have this remote at address 1, i guess,
so it would work with any receiver that has the Factory default address 1 as well...
Thanks
