Hi,

I am in the process of buying a Mits rear-projection HDTV, and I had a question about the 921,211,and 811.

I know that the 211 will output over 1394, but will the 811 or 921?

I need to decide about Mits, Silver Plus, which has no 1394 and Mits Gold or Gold Plus, which does.

Any thoughts?

I would really like to use a 921 when it comes out, but I would prefer to use it with firewire if possible. I don't know if tht extra 600 or 900 is worth if for firewire. Does anybody know any other advantages of the more expensive Mits.

Thanks,
Rob

921 will have Firewire out BUT I believe that the Firewire is ONLY intended for interface to an external recording device.

Personally, I wouldn't purchase an HDTV today without DVI/HDCP (copy protection support). Two ports would be even better. As indicated by the new E* boxes and some new DVI equipped DVD players, this seems to be the preferred digital interface for the final HD connection to the monitor.
