Any Blu-Ray players that play PAL & NTSC?

For reasons that I'd rather not mention, I need a dvd player that plays PAL as well as NTSC formats. I haven't bought a Blu-Ray player yet. Can anyone point me to any that play both that are available in the US?

I know Sony disables this feature in all of their dvd and likely BD players. It's frustrating because in PAL countries, their players play both formats but most in the US only enable NTSC.

thanks, but unfortunately that will only play PAL and NTSC Blu-Ray discs but not standard PAL dvds - from the specs: Will not play foreign standard DVDs on USA TV

I know the Oppo plays both but I am looking for something cheaper. It irks me that cheap players in Europe can do this but not many sold here, might have to shop gray market :nono2:

Europe sells players that play both because some parts of Europe are PAL and aome parts are NTSC....all of North America is NTSC...

I have an OPPO BD-83 and it will play pal and ntsc dvd,s. I have modified it to all region and I am able to play any blu-ray or dvd from anywhere in the world in any format that I choose. My overhead projector can play pal and ntsc in native format. If your display does not accept pal the OPPO BD-83 will do the conversion for you. For blu-ray there is no pal and ntsc but for dvd there is .
