I have a Denon 2802 home theater receiver. I can't get my 508's remote(s) to control it. I tried the code indicated for Denon as well as trying the "scanning" method, but none of the codes work for my receiver. Does Dish offer any other kinds of remotes? Any ideas?

I couldn't get it to work with my Denon 3802 either. So, I just programmed my MX500 Universal Remote to control the 721. I would've been nice to be able to control the Denon, however.

Another thing you could try is the One for All URC 6131 remote, which is specifically for PVR's. It appears to have several Denon codes, and is only about $20. I haven't bothered to try one out, but it might be a relatively cheap option (no RF, however).

Denon has seperate codes for 2-channel stereo receivers and AVR surround-sound receivers.

The DISH remotes only know the one for stereo receivers.

I haven't used the 6131 that Chiller mentions but there are several cheap One For Alls starting as low as $13.95 that work DISH, TV, DVD, CD, VCR & HT rcvrs.
