Hello,
I'm new here & have not been able to find the answer. I have DTV service in Central Florida & wanted to know if I change my address to a NY address will I get all the NY local channels in my central Florida home?

Thanks

This topic is off-limits here, but yes.

Search harder and you will find the answer....

The answer is no. Most locals are on spot beams and cannot be received outside of the local area.

Unless he's talking about getting the DNS feeds, no, he's a bit outside the NY spot beam down in FL.

Thanks! I currently get NBC & ABC (EAST & WEST) but I pay for them. I've had those channels for 6 years now. They did take Fox (East/West) from me 2 years ago. They tried taking the other two from me the other day but I argued and won that battle. The guy tried to tell me if he doesn't remove them he will get written up for it. To me that was a bunch of BS!
I had a friend about a year ago and he had a NY address on his account and was able to get all the NY channels.

If he was inside the spotbeam of the NY locals he can get them by lying. You're about a thousand miles out of luck.

And also, it's against your terms of service to give them a different address and also against this forum's rules so please don't ask about it.
