well I thought Select was a package that was no longer around, but the csr was able to get it for me, thats weird I guess.

anway what channels are in select that family doesn't have?

I know there is a post somewhere around here that talks about the Select Package in full. I think it's in the Programming forum. The Select Package is available as a low-priced alternative for subscribers, but is not advertised by DirecTV.
