Ok this is strange, maybe i missed the info on this but, I just got my new statement and the cost of AT150, locals, receivers went up by 3dollars. It wasn't like this last month.

I know they were supposed to raise prices earlier this year and I don't think I actually got the increase, maybe it's just now catching up to me?

How much are they now? Are there some locals that you weren't able to get untill recently? Have you added more receivers?

For DishPVRplan w/AT150,2 rcvrs, locals it was 60.98

This month it's 63.98. I haven't changed anything in a long time, so that doesn't answer my question.

Im not complaining, just wondering if I missed some news about this somewhere.

Did you just celebrate your 1yr anniversary. Sounds like you just got the increase from back in March. You were price protected under you contract so on your 1 yr. anniversary you are no longer protected from that price increase.

Does that include any taxes? The current DVR DHP plan is 5299+599 for locals, which is 5898. Not sure where the extra 2/5 comes from. Are there any other fees listed? Might want to call Dish to get an answer.

My 1 year anniversary was last november. The price is listed as before taxes. I don't believe we actually got the price increase that was mentioned earlier this year.

They sent us a letter way back when informing us of the price change but we never got it. I think we got locked in at a guaranteed price, but if I remember right, that guarantee should've ended earlier this year too.

The price increase on the top 150 was $3. They might have not raised yours, earlier, for some reason. The other $2, i'm not sure of? Are you getting more than 5 local stations?

Actually my math is bad. That should be 5898 after the price increase. :sure:

Not that I know of, I've quoted exactly what my statement says.

We do have that extra 5 dollars or so, because we don't own the equipment.

At 6398 they are charging you for 3 receivers or 2 receivers and some other $5 charge.

$63.98 is the correct current monthly charge for a 3-rcvr Top150 with locals. Looks like you've been getting a break since February & a recent audit revealed that this is what you should be paying.

Expect a debit on your next bill now that they discovered the error. You know Charlie didn't get to be worth 5.5 billion by being careless with his money.

When you add the 13% Florida sales tax, that extra $3 becomes a $3.39 increase. (or $8.31 in taxes  )

Also, a few of us on the Digital Dynamite plan also had our price protection guarantees expire.... So those last three price increases which we missed were added in. So now I am paying for two leased units which are just backups in my closet ($10 equipment fee). When it included the extra receiver for no additional charge ($5 savings), in house service (I'm locked out from being able to get the $1.99 fee since I'm already covered supposedly), and protection from the increases ($3), it was a wash.

Now I'm wondering if it is time to return the receivers to E* and change to a standard subscription. It was cheap insurance in case my 721 or 2 DPs went on the fritz, but thy seem to have lost their usefulness. Suggestions?
