I stumbled across this show tonight for the first time on Comedy Central.
Reno911!
It's a comedic take off of "Cops".
I couldn't believe how funny/bizarre it is.
I don't think this show has been discussed before...
If you are fimiliar with this program; how long has it been on and what do you think?
Am I 'sick' or is the show as funny as I thought it was? :ewww:

Reno 911 premiered last Wednesday night. As a retired police officer, I find it to be hilarious.

It has a few of the people who starred in the mid 90s MTV cult classic "The State" (The Lt and the Neurotic Lady Cop for sure, think the K-9 cop as well)

I added it as a TiVo season pass it was soooo funny.

I loved it where the woman first got hold of the night stick then got into the police car... And obviously the naked guy will be "violating" many things (this episode a Bird House, next episode those big Utility Cable spools...)

Just read that Reno911 is mostly improvised (like HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm"). That makes the show even better, the fact that it is funny and mostly improvised makes me want to see it even more.

Lt. Dangle better stop letting his "Friends" hold his weapons (Guns, Mace, etc)

Kind of a strange show. Watched 2 episodes but will probably not watch any more. The comedy seems a little forced. Just didn't do anything for me.

I loved the Death Row Tickets Arrest Scavenger Hunt...

Crackhead in a wig = 5 points
Prettiest Hooker = 5 points
Guy over 6'5" = 5 points
Animal Tattoo = 5 points
...
points = x2 if arrestee is Jewish

And I've known officers to do stuff like that. Breaks the stress. About 20 years ago we had a Memorial Day ticket writing contest. Prizes for the most tickets written and for the most creative ticket. It was fun but we sure got into a LOT of trouble.
