Magnavox 42MF438B Remote Code

I recently purchased a Magnavox 42MF438B LCD Tv. I haven't been able to program my Dish Network remote to control the TV. Does anyone have the correct remote code this TV. I have tried all the Magnavox, Phillips Magnavox, and Phillips codes and I haven't been successful. Does anyone have the code or any ideas as to how I can obtain the code.

Chances are excellent that it is indeed one of the Philips codes and you missed it.

The remote is 3.0 IR I have tried several times with no success.What receiver do you have? That remote could be lacking many new codes. Updating to a 20.0 may cure your problem:)

with a 3.0, he may have a 301 or 311 receiver or older. I'd get a 211 receiver for HD and a new remote.
