I can get the same locally. I am looking for a good used one for less money!

I am really waiting for the 921.

Not sure if you can get one locally. Maybe start calling the local retailers in your area!
Once the 811 and the 921 come out, the 6000 might be available for less. Used ones are not available.

What kind or bargain is that? We sell 6000's everyday for $499, and it includes everything in the box. Remote, cables, modules, etc.
I can ship it anywhere for FREE.

Looks like he is also throwing in the 8VSB module for the same price your selling without.

BTW, I am seeing loaded 6000's going on eBay for $500 as well.

Since OTA HD is poor in my area, selling the 8VSB is just a waste, and I didn't know you could run both modules at the same time. I thought there was only one slot!

Also if they buy from me, they can get a FREE installation. If someone calls, has the reciever and wants an install, it costs $199. Since there are two dishs, the price is fair. :yesman:

There are 2 module slots in the back of the 6000. You can have the 8vsb installed and the 8psk installed.
ClearCom: You might want to learn a bit about your product before you start pushing it.

I can also throw in a Samsung OTA HD 151 set top box as a trade-in toward the value of a 6000 loaded. I need the 8VSB OTA since I get almost all of the DC stations. MNF in HD was awesome!!

I am looking for the system for ~$400. When the 921 & 811 finally arrive, ebay will be flooded with used 6000. Thus, the value will only DECREASE.

Again, since getting OTA is next to impossible, we do not even sell the 8VSB tuner. I have a few in stock for those willing to try, so there would be no reason to sell both.
As for knowing the product, we have been selling both DISH and DTV for 5 years. Longer than many other satellite companies have been around in my area. We contined because we do a better that most install, and service everyone we install, should there be any problems.
I apologize for not knowing one aspect of the 6000 that only pertains to those with the ability to get OTAHD. :D

In case you readers have not noticed, this thread is for anyone who has a complete 6000 system to SELL to me & NOT a thread to discuss the shortcomings of a sales dweeb.

I'm missing the ota module but your asking price seems fair. I'm too far for ota but know about it so time out for clearcon. :nono:

[B]Thanks for all the input.

However, I looked into the idea of adding a 6000 to my setup. It would be a 3rd rec. thus would cost me an extra $60/yr. Also, I would need a dish installer to run another lien, add a 64 or other DishPro switches to handle the lines as well as an adapter in line needed for the 6000 legacy hardware to work. This would cost me another ~$200-250. So to add a 6000 now for minimal HD would cost me ~$300 above the cost of the unit (~$400-550 used). :(

AND, it appears new HD content is going to wait until Oct. for SuperDish & 811.

Thus, I am better off waiting until Oct. & upgrade to the SuperDish\811 package with probably reduced install cost!!

BTW I do have a Samsung STB for ota currently so I still get all the network HD now!! :)
