I've been having problems ever since I got 2 of these rca audio splitters ( www.radioshack.com/produc...=274%2D881 (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=&product%5Fid=274%2D881) )
so I could feed audio to my tv and to my vcr in my bedroom at the same time.
The problem I've been having is that the right channel is a lot louder than the left channel ever since I installed these splitters. I even switched the splitters and plugged the one that used to be on the red jack on the white jack and vice versa, but that didn't solve the problem either.
Is the problem with the splitters, with Dish Network, with my tv, or with my left ear?

Whenever you use these kind of splitters you are always running the risk of the audio getting messed up. This is due to the impedence change when splitting one line into two.

How long are your cables? If the cable running to the bedroom is real long, you will get audio drops.

The reciever, tv and vcr are all in my bedroom, and the cables are all about 6 feet long each.
I just wish my reciever had 2 pairs of audio outputs in the first place.
I just don't think it's worth spending a hundred bucks or so just for a new reciever just to get the 2nd pair of audio outputs.
