I plan to sell my Dish 500 antenna, 301 and 4700(software upgraded to 4900) I'm not sure what these items are worth today?

$2. i'll be happy to buy them right now! :D

In all seriousness, the 301 is worth about $80-89 used on ebay, the dish500 would depend on the lnb installed, and the 4900 is probably around the $70 range because it has Dolby Digital. Your best bet is to look for these items on ebay to make your best guess.

More realistically, I would suggest that the dish should sell for about 30 and you should get about 60 for each receiver. Ebay seems to be flooded with 301 receivers now. I paid 89 including S/H back in May for a brand new 301. In June the price dropped to 79 including S/H for a brand new 301 wth all accessories. You might want to hold off on selling until the market calms down abit. However, you can sell the dish at any time and someone will snatch it up for a good price. Just sold two D* dishes today on ebay for $40.

You may not want to wait too long due to the new 111's and 311's coming out. The 311 is going to be a hardware upgraded version of the 301 that has more memory while the 111 is going to be a cheaper receiver that is also going to be smaller. This will cause you to get less money out of your receivers since a cheaper receiver is going to be coming out. Also a smart card swap is in the works and if you have smart cards in the receivers that will not work during or after the card swap then the receivers will be worth less because new cards would have to be bought for each of them in which are $50 each at this time. The only exception is if you have a Dish500 card in the receiver already in which the older receivers will not and they work with customers wanting to activate these receivers again.
