Leaving Dish for locals channels

I have a 722 DVR i have under a 18 month lease with dish on it, I wonder if i can leave Dish network because they don't carry my local channels to Direct Tv? It does have them.DMA #155: Bluefield / Beckley / Oak Hill, WV

no. that information would've been available to you before signing the contract.

Bluefield has been uplinked for several months, and some of the SD channels have even been switched to HD. I don't know what the delay is in making them available.

Contracts with the station owners is the most likely answer. But having them uplinked is a promising sign (though never a guarentee).

thanks all, i wish that dish would do something about it befor i do is all, my contrack runs out in Augest, so they have ontill then. lol
