I could swear that this was fixed on the last software upgrade, but i've got about a 2 sec. audio gap after I jump forward 30 seconds on my 721. Did I miss something, or is my upgrade downgrading itself?!?!

I see the same thing from time to time on my own 721 and have noticed it with the current software rev on two different units. I don't just notice it after 30 second skips though. Last night I was watching something pre-recorded and the audio dropped out for a momentary pause so I rewound and replayed the same scene where the audio didn't drop out at all as it did previously. Its one of those odd quirks like the pauses and hesitations when you hit rewind or fast forward and it hangs for a few moments before engaging or it pauses by itself in mid fast forward for a few moments before continuing.

I thought I noticed something like this after they did the software update as well but have not noticed it for a while. The 721 has not been doing this with the PVR Events that I have seen so far.

I have a PVR-501, and here it is Jan 2004 and I'm seeing this problem. Is it my PVR hard drive? Or something obstructing my dish? Or is this a basic Dish network problem unresolved after all these years?
