No thread for this weeks episode? Was I the only one who really liked it? Chloe putting Arlo in his place was priceless. Jack came back strong at the end didn't he? Renee having to go through with all aspects of getting back into the organization might have been too much for her, she could go down a path that can't end well for ANYONE involved (she won't physically harm Jack, but emotionally who knows). OK, BattleStar girl has got to go. She works for CTU and could be that sloppy to let Arlo see her on cam. Or could she? There's a twist coming in Hasan's daughter, I just know it.
I liked it a lot.
I kept thinking "These idiots really think they are going to double cross Jack Bauer??". Of course I wasn't disappointed!

24 has really sucked this season so far. The first couple hours were OK with the wounded informant coming to Jack, and then the helicopter exploding, and then the assassination attempt, but since then it's really gone down hill. I've fallen asleep by the 20 minute mark of the last 2 episodes. Poor Starbuck - that has to be the worst storyline ever in 24 history. And why is Chloe even there? She went from the CTU tech guru to like 3rd string. They better do something to turn this season around, and fast.
Really, we have had, what, one thumb sawed off in how many episodes?
Plus, you would think by now CTU would actually do background checks on their employees...

Here's how I rate how good a program is to me...
When I record it, if I can't wait to watch it, if I really must watch it right after it concludes the same night or ASAP, it's a great show. 24 used to be like that. This week I got busy but watched a couple other shows later in the evenings. I didn't get to 24 until Thursday night. I was like, "Eh, it can wait."
I know some national journalists who have always been big 24 fans, but even they have written lately that it has lost a lot of its appeal.

Yeah, 24 used to be a must watch the same night for me too, but not anymore. Now it's the next night or even Wednesday night.
