Really getting annoying whenever I have to call D to ask a question. Today I called and after identifying my account, the CSR asked if I wanted Free Showtime, or Starz, or Sports Pak for 3 months. I said yes to Showtime.
My account online now has the following entries:
02/04/2010 $5/3MoSHOWDUO($5.00)$0.00
02/04/2010 SHOWTIME - Charge$9.96$0.60
02/04/2010 SHOWTIME - Charge$0.00$0.00
02/04/2010 Dynamic Upgrade Offer Taker - Charge$0.00$0.00
My account balance was raised $5.56 because of the above transactions.
Now another call must be made to determine if the "offer" is really free?
UPDATE: I called, and this CSR stated the offer was not "Free", but a $5.00 Off, for 3 months. I cannot cancel until 30 days have passed. I'm a little ticked as the first CSR never mentioned the $5 off. I distinctly heard it as "Free". I even asked him to repeat what he said, which he did, and again, he never mentioned it being a $5 off scenario.
