Last couple of week most HD channels on both my 722 and 622 have gone up a ton. I am trying to get a handle if its L6.23 which I recieved a few weeks ago as well or another wonderful change echo has made.

After spending almost 6 months with an aweful audio issue that took a firmware change to fix I dont think I can take much more of this.

Am I alone???????????????????

Phil

I haven't seen any picture quality issues, or pixelizing, recently myself.

Not sure if it is related to your problem but I have noticed some picture quality issues in the last week or two. Watching HD movies from HBO/SHO/Encore lately I have seen major pixelization and occasionally picture freeze/blackout. No rain/snow fade and no signal strength issues that I am aware of. It usually occurs once or twice during the movie. This is a 722 on 6.23 software.

Ya, very similar here. The worst has been the Locals, particularly ABC where it will freeze easily 10 times per hour (Another thread going ABC specific all ready). A recent HDPPV movie from Saturday was 7 times. Interestingly enough it appears to be worse in the evening, maybe compression/bandwidth issues again on their end?
