i am having problems here , i just went out and bought my rc64r so i can use it upstairs now i can't use another remote to turn the channels downstairs i have a rc64 and rc24 but its a no go

When using RF you must have all RF remotes. You need another RC64R to keep downstairs.

ok thanks ,, 1 more question , why doesn't this work with the powermid x10 i have a dish net reciever with an ir remote and it changes good upstairs , my directv will not work with the powermid , please help

Did you try it before you set up your H23 to work RF? Once the box is set up for RF it will not respond to IR.
I have used similar products with no problems.

yes i tried it , if i do a complete reset will it start over so i can try it again, if not i will buy another rc64r remote for downstairs , thanks

ok i went out and purchased a second rc64r for downstairs it will not work downstairs the rf remote works upstairs anyone no how to activate the second rf remoe to work downstairs thankst
With receiver and one of the RF remotes n RF mode, set thm aside and do the following on the second RF remote:
1. dtv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT, wait for two blinks, release
3. enter 0 0 0 0 1
4. press and hold MUTE& SELECT, wait for two blinks, release
5. enter 9 6 1
6. press CH UP
7. enter the last 6 digits of the Receiver ID #(RID), found on a sticker in the access card compartment
8. press SELECT
