UPDATE--- I ordered a new HR22 from D* and installed it on the network. The old HR20 is headed to the bedroom to attach to the new TV. I tried to watch programing from the new HR22 and am still seeing the red/purple colors and pixilation. I have removed the HR20 DVR as the cause, but still don't know if it is a laptop issue or what. If anyone has seen this issue, please respond. Information on equipment is below.
I just networked my HR20 and blue ray devices. My connection is as follows. Linksys WRT54G wireless router set up as a normal hub (will refer to this as the hub below). That is connected to the HR20 and blue ray device. The router is connected to the Cisco WET610N bridge. The bridge is connected via wireless to my other WRT54G wireless router which is connected to the internet. My laptop is an HP running XP SP3. AMD Athlon dual core QL64 2.10GHz and 2.75 GB ram. Graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 3200. Driver version is 8.513.1.3000. I installed and checked the system requirement and all came back green.
The issue I am seeing is when I view video, HD or SD, the color is way off. It shows mostly red/purple hues and is very pixelated. The sound quality is fine. I've tested the blue ray streaming video from youtube and it works beautifully. I've connected to the hub via wireless and direct lan and have seen the issue both ways. Please help.
