Expertsatellite.com offering triple dish, instalation, executive director and director hughes receiver for $25.00. Sounds good to me but seeing that I'm leaving Dish to come over to Direct I would appreciate your input.

Since you want 2 receivers anyway, I recommend getting the HDVR2 + 1 standard receiver for $99.
Yes it costs $74 more, but it is worth every penny.
The HDVR is the way to go, its a real good deal. Or if you are wanting to save some money go and get the 2 rooms with the tripple LNB dish for free.

I thought about that but I decided to wait for the new models due out later this year. I want one that has PIP.
If you take the deal you are talking about, when the new models come out you will have to pay at least $200 for the Tivo cause you won't get a new sub offer once you subscribe. Take the Tivo now, and if you want one of the new ones later, just have two of them. The PIP functionality may be added to the current models as well. Even when the new models are out they will have the same abilities as the current models, the hardware may be newer, but it will run the same software.
Get the TIVO's now. I switched from DISH to Directv when UltimateTV was being sold out last year. Best decision I made as I rarely if ever watch live tv now as we got two units (and I upgraded the hard drives). Get the TIVOs and make sure that you get in writing from the dealer you buy from that the installer understands they are responsible for setting up all receivers with all wiring (inc. extra lines for the 2nd tuners). Otherwise, they will tell you over the phone that it will be installed and you assume it means everything including running the additional lines and they assume it means just in and out/hook it up. When the installer shows up, if it is not written on the order or contract, they will ask for more money to hook up the additional tuners.
Get whatever hardware you can b/c once you are contracted, your benefits as a new customer are gone. They subsidize low hardware costs by getting your commitment to one year. Once you are in, they may run occasional specials but you can't get a new customer price anymore.

I want the triple LNB dish so if I go with the Tivo unit the price jumps to 150. I may as well wait for the new units and get what I want even if it cost's more.

You don't have your location in your profile, so this may not help.
If you live in an area whose locals require the 3 LNB dish, you get the dish free.

You can also go this route. If your locals aren't available yet just get the Tivo deal with the round dish. After it's installed you can get a PhaseIII one of two ways.
1. Call D and request a dish upgrade. The fee is like $25, yeah it starts a new contract, but if you do it right away it doesn't really matter as you will have just started a one year.
2. If you will need more receivers than the package you're looking at. After the install call D and order an additional receiver for another TV. When you order the receiver request a Phase III, there is no additional cost to add the Phase III to an upgrade. You don't need a reason to request the dish, even if they ask just tell them you want NASA TV. This would give you a Tivo and two receivers for $100 or so. Thats pretty hard to beat.
It really doesn't matter to me what you do. I would just hate to see you pass up an almost free DTivo. Once you become a customer a good deal on the Tivo usually involves the retnetion department. Save yourself the hassle and just get it now.

I live in the Philly market and can already get locals without needing the triple. Your second suggestion is one to consider. Thanks.

I'm also a convert from Dish to Directv. I went from a 501 to Ultimatetv. No comparison. You'll love the HDVR2. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
