The question that I am asking pertains to my BellExpressVU system, however being that it is identical to my DP301, I though I could ask it here.
Bell has 2 sats for DBS at 82 and 91. I recently purchased a used Legacy LNB and SW21 to receive the 82 sat in addition to the 91. Both LNB work fine. I've swapped them back and forth with each drawing a signal. When I run th switch test, it detects that I have a SW21 switch, however I get the error message that only one satellite is connected (91). I have reversed the connctors on the switch and have received identical results.
Question: When running switch test, does the dish need to be alligned with both sats and receiving a signal for the switch to detect both LNB's? If I remember correctly from my old dish receiver, I thought fine tuning is normally done after the switch test when 2 bars appear and you can adjust for both sats.
