Questions on Directv adding Topeka locals- how do they handle things

I heard that Directv was adding Topeka locals later this year and had a few questions. In Topeka, we only have CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and a low power FOX. But we have no WB, PAX, or UPN.

How will they handle this?? Will I be able to get some form of WB and UPN channels or will I just get what they have? We have KC locals now, and I dont want to loose the WB channel on our TIVO.

If you are able to get the KC locals, I'd stay with them.

Who knows what channels will be available once Topeka comes online.

If any of the Topeka digital channels are looking for carriage on DirecTV, they have a decent shot. Many of the newer markets have received the digital affiliate of a WB or UPN station. That has occured in both Huntsville and Roanoke, where WB affiliates which are digital-only have been added.
