Hi all,
I have a problem with my setup and I have tried just about everythign to fix it. I can't think of anything else other than a bad lnb... but perhaps someone else can help me out.
I have a sw-64 switch hooked up to 119, 110, and 61.5. This setup worked perfectly until it simply stopped receiving signals from 119 evens about 3 weeks ago.
To try to trouble shoot I removed the sw-64 from the equation. And set it up with an sw-21 to both 110 and 119. This did not work as 110 e/o still came in and 119 o but not even. I tried each lead from 119 with 110 and each time it was the same problem... so I don't think it is the cabling to the lnb.
I also tried both my 501s (I have a 4900 as well) and both my 501s had the same problems in both setups from the sw-21.
Now, I have not made sure the lnb is clear of bird dung on the end of it (could that cause a problem) as it is hard to get to. Does anyone have *any* other ideas of what could be wrong other than a bad lnb?
To confirm the checkswitch shows simply an X for the satellite and an X for the transponder where the 119 even should be.
Any ideas or guidance are really appreciated!
