I've really been missing Chuck and now that the Olympics (which have been great BTW) are winding down and it's less than a week until a new episode here is a great promo video they posted:

Why do you suppose Chuck has Shaw in the crosshairs of that sniper scope??

Its great to have an actual reason to look forward to Monday!

I agree - I have really been enjoying the Olympics and I love "Chuck".

Wow!! That was pretty cool. Thanks for finding and sharing with us!

I can't wait for Chuck now that I have lost FNL's until next fall.

I was cathing up on all things Chuck getting ready for tomorrow's new episode and found out that apparently some fans went crazy about how "Chuck Versus The Mask" ended. Some apparently even suggested boycotting the show until they changed the direction Chuck and Sarah are taking - that's one of the most absurd notions I've ever heard! I was amazed to learn the backlash was enough to get Fedak and Schwartz to do a interview to address it:

Apparently this week's episode probably won't sit real well with those same people, my suggestion to those people is to record the next four or five weeks and then watch them all back-to-back at once. Actually my first suggestion would be to get a life and stop taking it so serious, it's the middle of the season, not the end!

Those are the kind of too-rabidly-obsessed fans that can get a show canceled as quickly as lack of fans do...

Those kind of fans sometimes get enough influence that creators do re-write parts of shows... and then it is not as good.

It's the "be careful what you wish for, you might get it" scenario... where people think they want something now, and don't want to watch the journey to get there.

In pretty much all TV/movie, it truly is the journey that is entertaining. Once they get to the end-game, it's done.

You're right about that Stewart. There's a long string of canceled shows that demonstrates that the fans that make up the core 1.4 million of the 7+ million viewers badly needed to avoid cancellation don't understand that a show that primarily appeals to males 12-18 can't survive without some appeal to the 39-year-old female. And "Chuck" hasn't done well in ratings over the long haul.

On March 8 it will be up against new episodes of "House", "How I Met Your Mother", "The Bachelor", and "Life Unexpected". If Chuck gets its core plus 3 million it will be dead and there is every chance if the core doesn't stick with it while it tries to get some of "The Bachelor" and "Life Unexpected" audience - women.

And keep in mind that half those rabid fans are again males who record it, have no audience value to NBC at all, and are too dumb to know it.

Since I was watching Heroes too, I took to DVRing House and watching Chuck + Heroes.

At least tomorrow night there is a 2 hour Law & Order premiere after Chuck so that's what I'll be doing again (except House is a repeat I think so no DVRing that).

IF Law & Order keeps following Chuck, then that will be the natural path for me to watch both live and keep DVRing House.

Beginning March 8, the lineup will be "Chuck", "Trauma", and "L&O". Unfortunately, our household and two others, both in San Francisco, like "Trauma."
