I was looking through the description of the Dish Silver package and noted that the Big Ten Network was part of that package. Unfortunately, there is a footnote that indicates that the Big Ten network is only available in what are essentially Big Ten states.

I'm in SoCal. Can anyone tell me if a SoCal based Dish customer can get the Big Ten network? Or is the footnote true?

Now looking at Dish.com, I don't see the footnote. But I know I saw that at some point. I'm currently with DirectTV, and do get the BTN. I'd like to know before making the jump to Dish.

You would have to have the multi-sports pack and the america's top 120 plus or higher package (a package with regional sports networks in it).

At the bottom it says where it's available:

Outside the Big Ten region, you need the 120 Plus and the Multi-Sports Pack, like Puck said.

Ok, that'll work. I just wanted to make sure I could get it. Thanks for the responses.
