View Full Version : FLASH! New Talent on ch 101 tells us how to use remote
Well, I pushed some wrong buttons on my 'mote and the darn IRD defaults to 101. That makes sense. If I push wrong buttons I obviously don't know how to use the remote and I NEED to be taken to 101. Clever.
Surprise! New "talent", but same old 'how to use your remote, dumbass' crapola.
I like the cute little blonde better - great personality. Miss ya, Babe! Call me. Email me. PM me, whatever. ;)
Yeah, as of August 1st new idiots on 101. They also seem to change clothes like 5 times in the rotation. Its also nice they blame the installer if your remote it not addressed to your tv or vcr.

Its a shame that they refer to the installer as "that punk ass".

Is Britney Troissi on anymore? She must be about 35 by now ROFL :)
You know what the sad part is? Stuff like this is probably valuable information to a great many Dish subscribers. I am always amazed at how many people there are, that you would assume are in an age bracket where they would understand technology, and are completely clueless.

Who are you talking about Laurie or Marnie(I know who you're talking about, but don't answer just in case Laurie reads this forum, she'd be sad that it wasn't her you meant)
She'd be like "what am I chopped liver?/how soon they forget".
Also besides those 2, nobody on these forums and newsgroups probably even remembers poor Tia.
I am very sorry, Mr. Peluso, to have made you "sad". Indeed, I admit that my wife and I are among the "great many" dish network users who find the information on station 101 useful. So, I guess we are indeed "clueless". Again, we are very sorry.
Peluso ponders "...how many people there are, that you would assume are in an age bracket where they would understand technology..."
You would think so. I do have a few questions about this age bracket thing.
- In which 'age bracket' do we understand tecnnology, and how do I get into that bracket?
- If I change age brackets, do I lose (not loose) the 'understanding' I acquired the the previous bracket?
- Unfortunately, according to most standardized age bracketing systems, I am in the next to last, or <sigh> last age bracket. Is it too late for me to understand this satellite stuff?
Maybe I should just go back to cable where all they have is that little wire that sticks in the back of my 13" tv...
Just wondering.
