Yes they are unaired episodes. But they are also reairing the 1st season starting at 3pm EST tomorrow.

For clarity sake:

The NEW SEASON of "Southland" starts on TNT Tuesday 3/2/2010 at 10pm EST/7pm PST.

For the past few weeks TNT did run all the episodes NBC aired.

Also, TNT is waiting to see how the ratings are for the new episodes before it commits to another season.
