That's right E*, Comcast has rolled out ESPN HD around the country, it is included in their HD package of the local ABC, NBC, PBS channels, SHOW HD and HBO HD (west coast feeds that I can not get from you), all for the cost of the STB rental of $5.00. Are you listening and observing what is going on??

Only one company is going to get my long term HD dollars, who is it going to be?

For the time being probably not E*.

Maybe Charlie has Comcast at home so he really doesn't care?

Seriously. I have to beleive that all new HDTV Channels will be exclusive to SuperDish only. Nothing more will ever grace the HD wings satellites.

Until SuperDish, forget new HDTV.

OK, then we should be expecting Charlie to announce on the chat that Dish will not be providing the HDNet channels this summer as previously announced via a Dish and HDNet press release:

The home page on HDNet even has this on it:

HDNet and HDNet Movies will also be available soon on DISH. As soon as we know those channel locations, they will also be available.
If that's the case the in my book Dish as lost ALL credability with me (they really lost it awhile ago, this just reenforces it).

I agree that things will not change until Superdish....... then look for a flurry of new channels to go along with the upgrade to get the early adopters motivated to buy.......

Remember Summer officially ends September 23rd at roughly 6:47am EST. So, it is possible to announce it on the Charlie Chat and still wait a month before turning it on and it still be Summer.

HDNet and HDNet Movies will be available to customers using DISH Network's new SuperDish

The above quote was taking from both of the links that RAD provided. 3rd paragraph I think. So I stand by my speculation that there will not be any new HD until SuperDish is available. In your defense it does state "summer" also.

But don't forget that Summer doesn't end until September 21st. I do think that once SuperDish does come on line, that it will exceed any other MSO in the quantity of HD channels. So Dish customers will have bragging rights, but not until then.

Hopefully 105 & 121 will be online by then.

BTW: I offer no speculation on what Charlie will or likely won't say on Charlie Chat. Except that Credit Card auto-pay is a great convience.
