Does anyone know why there is no 10 PM broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada in HNHCI on March 6th?
Montreal is playing LA, the game is being shown on CBC and is being rebroadcast on the NHL Network on Sunday afternoon. So why no coverage in NHLCI?

Is is on NHLCI... Ch 782/782-1 : FSW/HD
It is not on NHLN (215) because they don't show any of the HNIC late games... which upsets me since I live on the West coast and would watch every "live" hockey game I could, especially HNIC games... After the early game, it switches to On the Fly... then with more On the Fly.... then even more On the Fly... until, finally it ends with On the Fly at midnight.

The replay on the NHL Network has been there all season and with a couple of exceptions the CBC feed of the 10PM game has been shown as well. So, why not this week?

Hrmmm, I thought that only the first HNIC game was aired on 215 and then it went to On the Fly... I quit watching it because it seemed that only Toronto games were being shown.:nono2:
I just went to the NHLN site and every Sat this month only has the first game listed... and Toronto plays in 3 of the games!!

As far as I can recall the second CBC game appeared on 215 NHL Network only twice this season...opening weekend, and Hockey Day in Canada night. Otherwise NHL Network has switched to On the Fly at 10 PM.
However, you can usually find the live CBC broadcast of the second game on the NHL Center Ice channels...in SD only, unfortunately.

Also, NHL Network usually shows the late game on Sunday afternoon in HD but with the crawl of scores underneath so that if you're not careful, you'll see the final score of the game you're watching!!!

That's correct. They always replay the late HNIC game and the HNIC After Hours show Sunday in HD on the NHL Network.

This is correct. With only two exceptions the second game has NOT been live on 215 but the second CBC game has almost always been included in the NHLCI package. I know the Montreal LA game IS on NHLCI tomorrow night, but the CBC feed is NOT, hence my original question.
First CBC game in HD on HNIC looks great! Go Leafs! Looking forward to see what wild suit Don Cherry will wear tonight on coaches corner.

Looks great, but sure doesn't sound great.
2.0 Stereo = FAIL
At least the sound is much better then what I get on the MSG SD channels on NHL CI.
(Also, I was a bit disappointed in Don Cherry's outfit)
I think it stinks that the 2nd game isn't on NHL Network's coverage of HNIC. I like the CBC HD telecasts. Often times, the late games aren't in HD on NHL CI.
For me, it would be nice if the tonight's Habs/Kings game was on NHLN. Typically, I'm not interested in the late game when its 2 western conference teams.
