I am a current Dish sub. and have just placed an order for DirecTv. With Dish the switch is separate from the satellite but with DirecTv the antenna on the triple is inside the satellite. They tell me the installer will not run new lines, he will use the existing lines. Does that mean he will have to use some sort of coupler to connect the feeds at the current Dish switch so they reach up to the DirecTv satellite and if so how will that effect my reception. The switch by the way is outside. I am planning to get a HD receiver in the future and don't want to get ripped on reception due to poor installation.
