I know I'll be ok with the SWM 3LNB, and I don't need the 5LNB. While browsing ebay for equipment, I notice 2 types of LNBs...Eagle Aspen & WNC. Some ads even have one pictured, but say Manufactured by either WNC, Eagle Aspen or Directv.
Are there differences? Is one better? Thanks in advance.

In my experience no, no difference.
Others will swear that one is better than the other.

Thanks Robert...now to find a good/trusting deal on a SWM 3 LNB, PI, & 4 way splitter.
I have had both. They are both fine.
IIRC, the first generation SWiM WNC's had (extreme) cold weather problems.
The first gen WNCs had issues as dave said, but besides that they are both fine.
I have an Eagle Aspen that works fine at my house and have installed a few WNCs with no issues either.
If you are shopping on eBay you tend to get whatever anyways, I ordered from one ad that said and pictured an Eagle Aspen and he sent a WNC
You could also receive a Zinwell SWM-LNB
Just different manufacturers of the hardware just like the -100 or -700 on receivers. It shouldn't make any difference and outside of the previously mentioned issue with extremely cold weather, I haven't heard of any verifiable issues specific to one particular mfg. Some people will post they like this mfg or that mfg or that they have had nothing but bad luck with another but that is all anecdotal evidence.
