This may be mentioned in another forum here but I saw a posting
on another site of a news release that showed D* pairing with CBS to present NFL football in HD this season. The HD game would be part of a sports package on D*. I also see where ESPN-HD will have a college football game in HD on Saturday nights during the season. If E* doesn't announce something by the time college football starts I may have to start looking at D*. \
If college football was available in HD on D* and not on E* I would seriously consider jumping ship. College football in HD would be the app that would "be the straw that broke the camels back" for me. Hope we get an announcement at next week's Charlie Chat (although I am going to be out-of-town and without internet access from Monday through Thursday of next week--so I won't know what has been said until Friday of next week). I wouldn't defect if D* had a movie channel that E* didn't or really I wouldn't think about defecting for anything but sports-especially college football. It's time E* gave us something other than promises or maybe E* considers the money in HD to be of little consequence. I know they say such and such is coming but it always coming soon and doesn't look like it will every get here. I'm a frustrated camper right now.
