View Full Version : DirecTV2PC Improvement Odd

With the firmware update to the DVRs this month, suddenly DirecTV2PC is back to working flawlessly. I have seen this behavior when DirecTV2PC is updated, but I hadn't noticed improvement when the DVRs were updated. Is there something they have "fixed" in the DVRs that would make DirecTV2PC work flawlessly again?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, and I'll enjoy it while it works, but I'd love to know why a firmware update to the DVRs would significantly improve DirecTV2PC performance.

And, before anyone asks, there haven't been any changes to my network or computer configuration.

They do keep tweaking the server side software. DirecTV2PC & MRV kind of go hand in hand.

Does anyone know if DirecTV2PC suport multiple monitors yet? I just uninstalled it since it was pretty much worthless on my dual monitor setup. Haven't used it since last fall I am hoping they may have fixed it.

I have been using it with my dual monitor setup. Not sure when they started supporting dual monitors but it works.
