According to Variety (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118016539.html?categoryid=14&cs=1&ref=bd_tv), the TV Land's new original sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" has signed Betty White: White had been a guest star in the pilot, which revolves around three women from L.A. who relocate to Cleveland. But White was so good in the role of the snarky owner of the home that the women rent that "Hot" producers decided she had to be a regular.

Series, which stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves, is set to bow June for a 10-episode run. It's part of the Viacom-owned cabler's push to expand into scripted fare. So far so good, but then they had to say: White is a good match for the TV Land demo of older adults....Come on, talk about "snarky." A show with Valerie Bertinelli, 49, Wendie Malick, 59, Jane Leeves, 58, and Betty White, 88, is not a reprise of "The Golden Girls."

I mean Betty was 63, Bea Arthur was 63, Rue McClanahan was 51, and Estelle Getty was ...uh... 62 when "The Golden Girls" first aired. Hmmmm....

Well, I don't care, I think it could be good show. Of course I'm older than any of those ages....:sure:

A show with Valerie Bertinelli, 49, Wendie Malick, 59, Jane Leeves, 58, and Betty White, 88...Well, with the first three, all hot to me, there's bound to be a boner in there somewhere. With Ms. White, a glass of wine and a double dose of Cialis ought to do it! :p
