I did a search on my 501 today to see how many movies had Arnold starring in them that were airing over the next few days. So far:

Thursday, 8/7:
Telemundo East 4:00 PM - Predator
Telemundo West 7:00 PM - Predator

Sunday, 8/10:
TBS 3:00 PM - The Terminator
FX 4:30 PM - Eraser
TBS 7:45 PM - The Terminator
FX 9:00 PM - Eraser

Monday, 8/11:
USA 5:30 AM - The Running Man
USA 7:20 AM - Junior
USA 12:00 PM - Twins

Tuesday, 8/12:
FX 5:00 PM - Predator

Wednesday, 8/13:
5-MAX 7:20 AM - Pumping Iron
FX 3:00 PM - Predator

Thursday, 8:14:
HBO2E 8:30 PM - Collateral Damage
HBO2W 11:30 PM - Collateral Damage

Hmmmm..... so now what? What are the equal access rules going to be since Arnold is running for governor in California, not a national office?

According to F/X's web site, Eraser has been replaced with Below Utopia.

I'm in Singapore this week and saw the Running Man on TV Monday night. Let's replace Richard Dawson with Gov. Davis and that movie would be a funny parody of the recall election in California!

Running Man was on USA network this morning.

Saw about 15mins of it while I gave the kids breakfast.

Didnt the equal time thing give Fred (Gopher) Grandy problems when he ran for the house or was it the senante?

Did any problem arise when Sonny Bono ran?

It would definately be an issue for locals in the affected areas, but since many channels discussed here these are national networks, do they have to comply as stringenly for local/state races (except obviously when running for President like Reagan did)

Okay, I got my answer from this AP story (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=529&ncid=529&e=8&u=/ap/20030813/ap_en_tv/recall_equal_time). The broadcast stations in California would have to give equal time if they air any episodes of Diff'rent Strokes or any Schwarzenegger movies. However, cable networks are exempt.
