Well, ya gotta trust someone, right? I posted a 6000 with both modules, sw64 NIB and etc... Blah Blah. Got reply from a guy in Canada. No bells yet, but I'm getting older. We talked, he was nice. Sent the stuff, and you gotta know he never paid. I'll followup with the details once this laptop is replaced with my desktop again. To you the guy. I will find you, and like a good little seeker, you will pay. It's just time.

Well man, sorry to hear that, it really hurts, but at least you learned the lesson, in this World, you never send a merchandise before getting the money for it, if the buyer doesn't lik ethe idea to send you the money before receiving it, then forget about that buyer, someone else will contact you later.

Did a little research. Handle on this dud_e is GoWFO. Some sort of graphic desing house in Canada. He said his hobby was racing trucks?

Our talk was centered around, he was on the road, ship it to his office, and someone there would mail the check immeadiately. He said he was "well known" on Ebay etc... If not yet, he will be soon.

Im sorry to hear that you never recieved payment, but I never heard of selling something online where you send the merchandise first and wait for the payment to follow later.

Now granted I have done this a few times with stuff I sold on E-bay where the item was less than $5, and it was just more convient for me to ship the item out with several other items I was taking over to the post office. But a big ticket item such as a 6,000, upfront payment is required!

If the buyer didn't trust you, you could have setup a paypal payment, or even a COD!

Well DICKn

You might wanted to talk to me before posting this Chit....

Your UPS tracking (Deleted) , as Like I told you I'm on a CASCAR race team and we were on our Western CANADA swing and that I wouldn't be BACK till the end of the month (July). Monday was a Holiday here (Civic Monday) and your payment went out Tuesday by UPS.

Hell I even Added $25 for your shipping as you never told me how much it cost you.

Then I see I'm being slandered here publicly.... NICE

Yeah, but the times we talked you stated that someone in your office would "send the check" as soon as the package arrived. Now I'm getting old, but that is what I remembered. You said you were on the road, and someone would handle the payment as soon as the box was received. That usually means like pretty quick. If I remember this right, then there isn't any slander here, just an annoyance in the wait time for "someone" to handle it. Squeaky wheels get greased. Hope you won.

Hey Dickn

Well the wheels were officially greased (Aug 5) before they squeaked (Today)

Receiver is great, added to my dish sub np.

I won't go into too many details here but my Boss signed for it on 24th of July and never mentioned it to my co-workers who had my money to send you. So I took care off it as SOON as I could.

BTW we would like to forget about the western trip...
Broke a valve spring in Calgary finished 22nd
Hit debris @ the Vancouver Indy and drop drive-shaft & rear-end yoke finished 25th

I know I'm chiming in late, and it may not be my business. but waiting 20 days to pay for an EBay item, unless prior arrangements are made, is just plain rude, regardless of the excuse. I hope the appropriate feedback was left for this buyer.

Hey to all, A note as I promised to GoWFO. I did in fact get a money order for the agreed upon price. There was a mix up in his office, and the proper people were not notified of the delivery. Therefore, the payment was not sent timely, and I became worried. I appreciate the notes, and advice, and believe me I would not normally send an item prior to payment. But in haste during a relocation, I decided to simply do it. It was slower than expected, but everything worked out as agreed upon. To GoWFO, thanks and sorry for being quick on the draw.

Now that I live behind some of the biggest oak trees in Florida, and the sats can't be seen without a chainesaw with silencer, I am forced to cable for now. But a new move is in the offing, and hopefully I can get back on track soon. About a year or so. Just about the time the 921 is scheduled for release, again and again...

Thanks again to all.
