Temporarily Change Programming Package

I'm on Choice package but would like to watch the UFC event on Versus channel which is part of Choice Extra. Can I temporarily upgrade to Choice Extra until after the event is over and then switch back to Choice to only pay a pro-rated share of the $5 increase? Or is there a penalty if I switch back before 30 days like with the premium channels?

Choice Extra gets you a lot more then just VS.

Just switch to ChoiceXtra, its probably the most value for $5 on the entire system.

That wasn't the question. I'm perfectly satisfied with Choice except for this particular UFC event on Versus on one night. Can I switch back tomorrow or do I need to wait 30 days first.

I think you have to wait 30 days or its a $10 downgrade fee.
I believe you have to call to remove it too if its less then 30 Days.
For $5 you might as well keep it for the month.

The downgrade fee applies to premium services only. There is not a 30 day requirement for regular packages. The answer to the OP is yes you could.

And as you asked, the cost of the upgrade is pro-rated to the number of days in your billing cycle it is active on your account.
