Thanks for the update. Don't know why, but they have always had guide data problems for this show. It really is a good show, wish they'd get these issues fixed though...

That made me laugh! As for the recording issues, I have wondered if it's related to the shows being "new" for HGTV USA but not really "new" shows. I have noticed sometimes they're new for us to see but may have production dates in the notes of '08 or before..

It was in my ToDo list, but never recorded. I will go back through the History and see what happened. Could have just been bad guide data listing this show instead of HOH.

I wouldn't bet on it, remember it's produced by "Make it Right Productions"...not by HGTV. Previous to being on HGTV in the US "Holmes on Homes" was on Discovery Home. So I am sure they just sell it to the "highest bidder" it could end up on an Scripps channel but it's not for sure...even if they decide to distribute it in the US.

Yes, and I have a list of the episodes we have watched. So once a week when I do playlist maintenance, I go through the upcoming eps and delete any we have seen and then back through the ones recorded to delete the ones without guide data we have seen.

Yes, its a PITA.

I think it's more like the Government of Canada(CRTC) doesnt like Directv.
