This may not be the correct forum for this but since it involves my 508 I figure more people may have an idea.
I am looking for a remote up to $350 that will control my 508 along with the commercial skip feature. I must also control my other components which are:
Toshiba 57h81 widescreen
Harman/Kardon AVR 500
Toshiba DVD (forget model # but shouldn't be a problem)
Sony VHS (again never really use it so not that important)
working my X-10 would be nice too but not necessary.
I am looking for something that has macro's so my wife can turn on the DVD player and all other settings with one button as well as the Satellite etc. I would prefer not having to do a lot of programming although if it has a computer interface that will make it easier. I prefer push buttons as opposed to lcd screen but I know an lcd is necessary for some of the things I want.
I have searched through remotecentral but I don't see anything that makes that commercial skip easy - but then I really don't know much about them.
After I find that I need a Universal remote for my truck - have 4 remotes in there and don't even have satellite TV in it yet :)
