Does anyone know if Frontier Communications has any caps on broadband? Currently, I have Verizon 7.1 mb DSL, but just found out that Frontier is taking over the VZ high speed internet service here in Illinois (July, I think). I use D* VOD, which I am guessing takes up a lot of bandwidth.

Their acceptable use policy says that they can suspend, terminate or levy extra charges if you go over 5gb combined up/down in 30 days.

I don't think they've actually done it. My parents are in Frontier land, and the tech I talked to on the phone said it was the chatter around the office as to how ridiculous it was. What's even worse is that Dish's service would likely be exempt from the limit as they have a partnership.
