I wonder if it is significant that Sun's flash sideways started the second she hit her head? REminds me of the Desmond arc.

I agree with the V countdown, that was really annoying.

But I thought it was a good eppisode overall.

The countdown was pretty crappy. Especially as it even covered a a little of the subtitles at times, though at least it was only a letter or two usually.

Ya, it actually obstructed some of the text at a few points. Good episode though, I really like Jin, he's growing on my list of characters I like.

NO IDEA about Desmond though, I don't really understand what he's doing back there.

As soon as Widmore said the package was a 'who' and not a 'what,' I immediately guessed it was Desmond. He's the only semi-regular character who hasn't been on this season yet, and I think it's too late in the game to introduce any new characters (at least I hope). I hope the show comes to end with the action revolving around all the known players.

Des and Charlie both appeared briefly on the sideways flight. Des asked to sit next to Jack, then Jack helped save Charlie from OD'ing in the bathroom. When Jack got back to his seat Des was gone.

Right. I guess I should have worded my statement "He's the only semi-regular character who hasn't been on this season yet" to something like he's the only semi-regular character who hasn't had much screen time yet. That scene in the season premiere was only about 5 seconds long I think.

My wife said Charlie and I said Walt...we were BOTH very happy to see Desmond (brother) though!
