I am currently having some DirecTV receiver problems, and any help would be appreciated.
I bought a new Hughes GAEB0 receiver 18 months ago to replace my original receiver from 1995. I quickly fell in love with the Hughes' speed and features. However, in the last couple of months, the unit has been "freezing up" periodically, (almost as if it loses the progam guide information) although if I unplug the receiver for several seconds, it resets and is fine. The problem has gotten quite bad in the last few weeks, occurring once every few days or so. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone suggest a possible solution?
