Hey all you sat gurus out there,,,,I was wondering if there is a way to get 1 dish to do it all. I don't need HD or international channels,,,just want basic channels,,I think Dish 110 and 119 and DTV 101. I think those are right. Is ther a cost effective way to do this, and if so could someone give me some ideas,,pointers or anything to help me out. I am not an expert so please exlpain as much as possible,,Thanks for your help :D

An older 18x24 D* dish will work. Just make sure it is one with an external multiswitch. D* and E* LNBs are interchangeable.

So you need

1. 18x24 oval D* dish
2. 3 LNBs (D* ones fit in the dish better then the E* ones)**
3. 2 SW21 switches to combine 110 and 119 for E*

I have this setup on my house and it works fine.

any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, welcome to the board.

Rich

** Note, do not use the D* 110 LNB, AKA sat C kit, it is designed to work with D* only and will not work with E*.

Kyle read the post Rich said an older Directv triple sat dish, with three LNBs don't use the sat"C" lnb. Go to www.switchinfo.info/dtv+.html it should help you.
