well i never sat and counted but Im happy we are still getting more and more hd..about the only one id still love to see is AMC ..im ecstatic that TCM and History International has been added

If you count HD Channels from each provider and exclude the RSN's and PPV's....
Dish wins! They have more of the 'basic cable' channels than Directv. Not to mention Directv's DVR's are slow....non-HD guide and buggy as hell. Oh and where is Directv's PiP and Sirius XM radio channels? I switched to Dish last week and couldn't be happier!!!

Dont get me started. I can list alot of reasons why I would never go with E* as well. I give ya a hint. Its due to lack of programming.

I really do not understand why anyone cares about the count. If you can't get the equipment you want or can't get the channels you absolutely must have, a provider having 400 HD channels like the Watch the Mud Crack Channel has no meaning for you.

Is someone other than the providers themselves looking for bragging rights? I just don't get it.:confused:

We've been discussing this since the claim was made a few days ago ...
