OK, folks, here we go...

I've got some friends in high places who tell me they're committed to finally fixing the "Channels I Get" issues. But they need data... a LOT more data. So I need your help.

Choice Extra Plus HD DVR/Locals (Currently with free Showtime gift)

All of the choices listed above show in guide even though I cannot receive the programming. The current EXCEPTION is channels 548 and 549. I currently have a free Showtime anniversary gift and believe these used to show, but cannot be sure at this point.

It shows that I get all those channels, but in reality, I don't receive them.

These are all in my Channels I get lineup, but I receive only a few from the 600s. This has been pesky for me, since they are included in the searches and I sometimes try to record them. :)

My CIG list shows all of them...

Most of the 600's show up (even though I don't have the sports pack), but very few of the 700's.

I never knew I had so many Spanish channels in my lineup!! (440, 447-449)

Everything in the poll but 293 and the sports in 600s and 700s don't show up in my guide. However the soccer channels from 459 to 470 also show up even though i don't subscribe to them

The only choice that applied to me was most of the 600s and 700s. I have Choice Xtra Plus HDDVR, as well as the Stars and Showtime package, as well as NHL Center Ice and MLB Extra Innings.

In the favorites list menu, the number beside "Channels I Get" is 863.

I have two favorites lists, one set up for normal channel surfing, and then another one that includes some SD Duplicates as well as the NHL, MLB, and Music channels. Those lists have 170 and 394 channels in them, respectively. Neither lists include any spanish language channels, religious channels, or infomercial channels.

293 and 415 show up for me, Choice Xtra + HD + DVR (+ HBO + Sports Pack + MLB-EI). Even though I have Sports Pack and MLB-EI (so the 600s and 700s are supposed to show up) I still see a few NHL and NBA channels in the 700s. It's better already, though, because last time I looked I used to get a few SHO channels as well and a lot in the 400s and those are all gone now. Nice!

I have the grandfathered Choice Xtra + HD DVR package.

I also subscribe to HBO, Showtime, Starz, and the HD Extra pack.

My Channels I get show 293, 418, 548, 549, and a lot of channels in both the 600 and 700 range.

Since I get Showtime the 548, and 549 channels should show up, so that isn't necessarily wrong for me.

However, 293, 418 and most of the RSNs and channels in the 700s that show up in my guide give me a channel not purchased error if I tune to them.

I have just a handful of 700's, but a lot of 600's.

I checked this morning and the only channels still showing in CIG is "most channels in the 600s and 700s". Everything else has now been removed (at least on my end.) Hopefully others are now showing similar results.

I've got Choice Extra Plus HD DVR with all premiums, sports pack and HD extra pack.

In my CIG, these are the only ones that show up with the 721 error:

408 - Telefutura HDw
416 - Tv Colombia

I wish I could get 408 in HD, but there is a Telefutura channel using the local Univision's sub channel so I'm stuck with the sd feed for now. :(

I believe you have to subscribe to the DirecTV Mas package in order to get it anyway. But, I think even with the DirecTV Mas package they black it out if you have one available locally.

Also, why not get the Premier package if you have all that, it should be a dollar or two lower? Plus you don't have to deal with the hassle of having a grandfathered package. Are you getting free/discounted prices on the premiums right now, if so then that makes sense?

548/549 of course come in.. as I subscribe to these..

In addition to the Choice extra Plus HD DVR, I have the sports pack. So I get most of the 600's. So I didn't check the box for most of the 600 & 700's, since I;m supposed to get them.

Are the 700's supposed to be part of the sports pack? I'm not subscribed to NBA, NHL or Nascar, but 750, 770, 771, 786, 787, 795-798 are showing up in the CIG.

Everybody gets the UEFA and Nascar channels, they are free. NBA and NHL are season pass channels

I'm only seeing extra channels in the 600s and 700s, and all of these appear to be "To Be Announced" and/or -1 alternate RSN channels.

Will there be a similar poll for other programming packages? I would love to see DirecTV get the "Channel I Get" disslpayed correctly for the Total Choice Package.
